training opportunities
As part of ongoing coach assessment I am looking for two ambitious pupils to take part in an exciting rider profile programme. The programme will look at all aspects of horse and rider including planning an annual programme, goal setting, fitness and psychology. The training will be free of charge and you should be planning to jump 1.20m tracks by the end of the period(one year approx). Adults, young riders or juniors are welcome to apply from either eventing or showjumping fields.
We are approved by KEITS the government apprentice scheme. If you are aged between16-25 and think you would like a career with competition horses then this may be for you.
During your apprenticeship you will:
- Work a five day week with regular hours
- Receive full training both in stable management and ridden preparation for a small team of competition horses
- Have an opportunity to compete in BS competitions
- Gain a recognised industry qualification
- Live in comfortable accommodation
- Be eligible for a statutory salary according to your age
