Koko Pop and Unique make final cut in Hickstead Championships!
Koko Pop and Unique both held their own at the Hickstead All England Jumping Champs on the 8 -11th September. It was no mean feat to qualify for the championships on the final day with over 100 people vying for only ten places in every preliminary round. But Koko Pop managed two qualifying places in the 1.10m Open and Unique performed the same trick by qualifying in both the 1.20m and the 1.30 and finishing 3rd in the 1.20m open final in the main ring.


SOOTY WINS THIRD NEWCOMERS IN A ROW
Koko Pop(AKA Sooty) has been on top form this month winning Newcomers classes at Wales and West, Royal Leisure and most recently Felbridge on 26th July. And on Sunday 7th August she upped her game to finish 4th in a competitive 1.15m class at Pyecombe. Her winnings have nearly reached the Newcomers ceiling and she has now started jumping some lovely double clears in Foxhunter classes. She will be trying to get into the main ring at Hickstead next month(8-13th September)


UNIQUE GAINS SCOPE QUALIFICATION IN 3 CLASSES!
Unique(AKA Nicky) jumped his second double clear in the Laura Tinto 1.30m qualifier at Pyecombe on 7th August to gain qualification for the Scope National Festival of Showjumping in September. He has already qualified for the National 1.15m and the B and C classes at the same show.
