Competition Preparation
Are you put off by the idea of training in a high pressure competition yard where you feel there are certain expectations? Then this is for you. After a morning of quiet assessment of you as a person and a rider we will move onto your relationship with your horse and look at key areas that you feel need improvement. This will involve looking at some realistic goals that you would like to achieve and how you can attain them. This could be going to your first competition or jumping up a rung from 1 metre amateur classes to jumping clear in a 1.20m class against professionals.
During your week we will look at:
Any physical or psychological issues that may be blocking your progress.
Suppleness and straightness of you and your horse and other flatwork issues that may have been overlooked but are fundamental to your success
Practicing scenarios that will help you cope in the competition environment.
Attending a training event/show and putting the training into practice

We can also take your competition horse to sell on a commission/basic livery basis.
